Andy joined the British Grove Studios assisting team in 2012, and has over a decade of experience in music recording and engineering.

Andy’s interest in recording started early. As a child, he spent more time playing with tape machines and microphones than focusing on his guitar and piano lessons.

He has worked on a wide variety of sessions at the studio, with composers including Nicholas Britell and Steven Price, as well as engineering band sessions for producers such as Tony Visconti and Glyn Johns.

Andy has always taken great care to ensure creatives can work effortlessly in the studio by making the recording process as invisible as possible.

In 2020, Andy became a co-manager of British Grove Studios alongside fellow engineer Jason Elliott.
